From my informal research talking to clients and friends, the year 2007 is off to a great start. New enthusiasm and hope is in the air and many are feeling more confident to act on their long-held dreams.
Compliments of expansive Jupiter’s move into optimistic Sagittarius around Thanksgiving, this idealistic and energetic feeling will carry through December when Jupiter slips into grounded, practical Capricorn. For now, hope is alive!
However, with the ongoing alignment of harsh reality- focused Saturn in Leo opposite altruistic and imaginative Neptune in Aquarius not complete until mid June, too much risk-taking may leave you out on a limb and disillusioned. Are you afraid of the responsibility (Saturn) to actualize your desire or have you been living on vague dreams (Neptune) and wishing someone else would make them happen?
I know that in the early part of this new millennium we experience more than enough fear, conflict, and despair. Isn’t it great to feel optimistic for a change? But unbounded enthusiasm now that spirits are lighter could lead to disappointment. This opportunity for manifesting your aspirations should not be squandered on “pie in the sky” projects. It will take focus and working on one step at a time but you can make it happen.
Saturn will be moving into detail-oriented Virgo in September and Jupiter moving into hard-working Capricorn in December where Pluto will join in January of 2008. There will be more than enough energy for practical issues and a need for facing responsibilities. Both Virgo and Capricorn are earth element signs. By the end of the year, you will need to have your foundation in place and your goals well-defined as you proceed strategically.
Here’s how I believe you can maximize success in 2007.
..Take inventory of your life noting what isn’t working and clarify your desires for improvement.
..Make a decision about which of your desires is important to make happen now, keeping mind that it may also mean there is something you must give up (self doubt?).
..Spend some time visualizing yourself achieving your goal; feel the joy and appreciation as if you accomplished your dream. (This is an important step in consciously manifesting anything.)
..Put your pen to paper describing step-by- step actions you need to take; good research and planning skills are required.
..Then step forth into your dream, knowing it will take self-discipline to accomplish but expecting to enjoy it all the way!
I too have several personal goals I wish to achieve this year. The first one will start tomorrow, January 18. I would like to write and process my thoughts more frequently that the monthly approach of this newsletter. I am very excited to begin!
At 11:01 pm under the New Moon of Capricorn, I will initiate a blog “devoted to living a Spirit-infused life of joy and fulfillment through honoring one’s own uniqueness and appreciating the diversity of others.” I expect to write and post new entries a couple times a week.
